ULTIMATE AUTOIMMUNE BLOOD TEST
The Ultimate Autoimmune Blood test checks for a range of autoantibodies which are markers of autoimmune disease.
We test for ANA which is used as a screening test for a number of autoimmune conditions such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Sjogren’s syndrome and Scleroderma. We test for Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) which is associated with autoimmune thyroid disease such as Grave’s disease or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.
We screen for Coeliac disease (gluten intolerance), rheumatoid arthritis, pernicious anaemia (the inability to absorb vitamin B12) and we also test for CRP which is an inflammatory marker that is often positive in inflammatory, autoimmune conditions.
